The aim of the ERP system \u00a0implementation is to increase company operation effectiveness. For this to happen, it is necessary to conduct a proper analysis of business processes\u2026<\/span><\/p>

The analysis is an integral part of the implementation.\u00a0It allows to:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

  • what are the expectations of the company,<\/span><\/li>
  • which areas of the company require special support<\/span><\/li>
  • business objectives and measures of their realization.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    The basic value of the analysis is reliable information, that let quickly and easily identify, in which areas you can use standard solutions, and in which specially selected tools will be needed.<\/span><\/p>

    Good analysis allows you to:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

    • optimization of business processes<\/span><\/li>
    • determine the method of the company\u2019s strategy implementation<\/span><\/li>
    • planning the optimal use of system capabilities<\/span><\/li>
    • getting the users\u2019 satisfaction of working with the system<\/span><\/li>
    • completion of the implementation work on time<\/span><\/li>
    • maintenance the costs of implementation at the planned level<\/span><\/li>
    • minimizing difficulties for the company during the implementation\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      The stages of pre-implementation analysis:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

          • Functional Requirement Document<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

            Documentation standard of requirements analysis.\u00a0Usually created in the doc. format. It containes customer requirements and suggestions for their implementation (solution).\u00a0The document is used to describe business processes.<\/span><\/p>

            • GAP\/FIT\u00a0Analysis<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

              Documentation standard of requirements analysis.\u00a0Usually created in the Excel spreadsheet. It contains requirements and solutions defined in the FRD document together with the estimated \u00a0time-consuming of work. This format is convenient to determine the scope and budget of the implementation.<\/span><\/p>

              II\u00a0Indirect result of the analysis are the documents:<\/em><\/span><\/p>

              • The Implementation schedule,<\/span><\/li>
              • The budget of implementation.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

                And what if there is no pre-implementation analysis?<\/span><\/p>

                • there is a high risk of exceeding the scheduled time or budget,<\/span><\/li>
